A Shillong teer club is referred to as a group of mature people from North-East part of India who take part in Teer (Archery) game. These clubs are basically living in the village, yet they are very talented. The basic wages of each member of the club is around Rs.300 per day. The only task each member performs is firing the teer on the target. The officials then do the hit counter to declare the result.

Each day, except Sunday, twenty archers from three different clubs line up to shoot the arrow in the target in Shillong. So there are a total of sixty club member who fires the teer daily.
